Agency is one of UT Austin's eight principles for responsible AI in education. This session asks how we maintain control over our intellectual output, decision-making, and the teaching and learning process. Join Good Systems and the Office of Academic Technology for a campus conversation that brings students, faculty, and staff together to talk candidly about how to center human judgment in our work and studies. A cross-disciplinary panel will tackle questions about how AI is changing academics and what responsibilities and rights we have as part of the campus community. Afterward, we will expand the discussion into facilitated small-group conversations.

Notes from this discussion will go directly to the Good Systems Executive Team and UT's AI Pedagogy Task Force.

No technical background required. All perspectives on AI use are welcome. Accommodations are available.
